ASOS...good or bad?
Asos is a store I love to death there's always brilliant finds on there and I cans sit and browse that website for hours but when it comes to the delivery part etc I always have problems! I ordered a new fur coat near Christmas (i blogged about it in a previous post). I waited and waited for it to be dispatched and nothing happened even though the money had been took out of my account. The size I requested had apparently sold out but during those 2 weeks i had seen that the item was still there as I kept going back to look at the coat like a crazy person, I love it that much! Now what i don't understand is before they cancel the transaction and send you the refund why don't they see if you would prefer to switch to another size that may be in stock because i would have got the size down so i sent an email to them asking them whether they could stop the refund and send me the smaller size as by the time the refund would have gone through the smaller size may have sold out..waited and NO REPLY!!..which is not very good customer service if you ask me! A few days later the coat i wanted was featured on the homepage so i clicked on it and every single size was in stock!! never felt anger like it, why couldn't they have waited and just sent me an email saying this item is not in stock yet but will be sent out when the item is back in. So i ended up with no fur coat and wasted the £75 on nothing when i got it back!
A similar thing happened when i ordered some wedges from asos i seem them on someones blog and had to have them as they were in the sale so it was a bargain especially with the 20% student discount. I received these and was quite disappointed with the quality, they had bits of glue stuck on the suede fabric and just overall didn't look very clean. After trying them on, I was again disappointed as they didn't fit, now I am a size 7 in all footwear usually but these were impossible to zip up, oh well i decided i would return them and get the size 8 and stated this on the return sheet. I received an email from them a week or so later saying thank you for requesting a refund for the item this refund will be placed in your account over the next 3-5 days..WHAT?! i never requested a refund so i missed out the lovely shoes as well..i am not a happy bunny!
Now today i went on the website and ordered some asos collection nude.pink wedges that i have been lusting after since they appeared on the website and they were in the sale from £120 to £38 and only had a size 7 in stock so i ordered them straight away with the added 20% student discount they ended up costing £28.80. Now I'm quite apprehensive as of whether I'll actually receive these shoes and if they will even fit. I checked the link again and they now say out of stock so I'm not sure if that's because i bought them or will i receive an email telling me they don't have any left, the reduced price on the web-page now also says they were reduced to £78, which was not the price about 10 minutes ago when i ordered them. This website has been annoying me lately! I hope I get the shoes but I'm not holding me breath, all I will say is they better not take that money out of my bank if they don't intend to send me them, I can use the money for other things!! rant over lol :)

New Buys...
I've picked up a few new bits and pieces recently and thought i would show you my new purchases. working in retail is torture but the advantages being DISCOUNT fashion..although when you're trying to save money it can be a bit of a hassle as you want to buy everything you see!! I haven't been too bad i just purchased two new t-shirts from the trend section in H&M. There are so many things i want from the trend section, basically this section contains the trendier clothes at a itty bit of a higher price. The t-shirts are both the same (if i find something i like i may aswell buy it in both colours right?). The price was really reasonable at £14.99 and with my staff discount..bonus :)
this picture really doesnt do the tops justice but basically they're oversized tshirts with silk shoulders and pocket..simple and classic :)
I also picked up a cream and black stretch mini skirt i love these skirts i have 2 of them in black there so easy to pair with different tops or tights etc very comfortable and a steal at £3.99 these sell out so quick!! there like a cheaper version of the topshop bandage skirts but serious im not going to pay over £20 for a skirt so h&m offers the perfectc solution:)
i picked up a nail varnish as well in the colour 'get a rose for me' this colour is a lilac/pink colour super cute and girly i love it. theres a deep shimmer plum colour i might pick up soon, why not there a bargain at £2.99 :)
thats it for my h&m purchases but there will definitely be more considering i'm there slaving away every other day!
Now on to the funnest buys so far this year..shoeeeeees! oh how i love shoes, i have quite the collection on the go but i definitely need to buy more..i must work harder to earn more money to spend on frivolous items such as 6 inch heels! I bought the first pair of shoes in the Riverisland sale i'd been wanting them for about 3 months and seeing them in the sale made my heart race so i picked them up immediately..I think they were £65 full price and I got them for £30 so quite a big save. gorgeous clog style boots, I dont think these will really go out of trend and if they do then oh well i'll still wear them :)
I picked up these babys with a voucher i got off my sister for christmas i also has some shorts to return so i ended up paying about £30 towards the ridiculous price of £85! so i didn't feel guilty one bit! i love these shoes to death i originally wanted the black wedges but they went into the sale and i missed out big time :(..but I'm really happy with the cream as i think they'll be perfect for summer..iv worn these once already and i think i might not wear them again until nicer weather as they already have a few marks on them and i want to keep them nice...especially considering the cost! I love everything i bought but like always there are a million and one more things i have running through my head for my wish-list..still waiting on that lottery win.
on another note vampire diaries starts again this week...along with gossip girl/90210/supernatural/hellcats etc etc and greys anatomy is on another break arghh not happy. i am a bigtime geek when it comes to tv sitcoms i watch anything american. guilty pleasure being jersey shore..i am addicted to that show..along with the bachelor..cringeee!!! haha love love love!!
have you picked up anything nice this year?

change is a good thing...
This new year has not started out great!...i got so ill at the beginning of new year and missed home so much!..so what did i do? i went home, when really i should have been working hard in uni. Now im running behind and have ALOT of work to catch up on..but on a better note i finish uni in may and am planning on booking some sort of holiday preferably to america!! never been before but have always wanted to go...i can dream away!
I'm starting a healthy eating kick today im going to try and snack on healthy foods instead of junk and cut out all the sugary drinks..i think i'v had a little obsession with all fizzy drinks and it just makes me feel really unhealthy..but tastes oh so goood! water for me from now on :)..i was pretty impressed with a youtube guru that i watch called marlena www.youtube.com/MakeupGeekTV..she recently done a video of how she lost 90 pounds and kept the weight off, its really inspired me as i have some weight i could lose but i've always struggled since school!..but heres to hoping for more motivation and willpower in 2011!
I'm thinking off making other changes within my life but theres so many decisions that can affect every aspect of your life its scary, but i think i know what i want in life and need to make these changes for me to be happy :)..soo change is a good thing right?
speak soon
